First October Edition "Creator Spotlight"
Submit on Discord for a chance to have your art featured
Happy October and FILAM History month y'all! 🎉 🇵🇭
Can you believe we're in Q4 already? This is our first Creator Spotlight of October and I'm stoked to have y'all see the work me and the APCC team have picked out. The submissions just keep getting better and better and I love watching how all of your art evolves. 🎨
"Lay Me Down" by @yourstrulyeliz 🦋 This was dope!!! I like your attention to detail when directing this — everything from the choreography to the transitions and the edit feels intentional to the music and the meaning behind it all. The "value of vulnerability" that you mention in your caption feels extremely tangible through the video, especially as creatives since art is usually seen as a form of emotional release and you did a great job encapsulating that. 👏
Watch the film on YouTube here or drop your feedback about this submission in the Discord thread here.
“Nike x Patta AM1” by @markj2856 👟 For your first time shooting product photography, you did a great job at encapsulating the details of these sneakers. I like the colors of this and how you incorporated the background to connect the product to its surroundings! 🌱
Check out the submission in the Discord thread here and let @markj2856 know what you think!
Waverley Lake, Tasmania 🇦🇺 @biggie_042 There's certain video postcards that you can feel yourself in the middle of, like the image you're watching on your phone could be jumped through and felt if you look closely enough. This is one of those.
Check out the other 2 video postcards and submit your feedback in our Discord thread here.
That's a wrap on this October's first Creator Spotlight! Don't forget to check out previous winners on APCC's Instagram and submit your art on Discord for a chance to be featured in the next newsletter. Happy creating y'all, see you in the next one. 🤝
Adrian believes in utilizing his platform to feature creatives on a global scale. Through the formation of APCC he hopes to bring more exposure to creators, encourage others to tap into their talents, and let their art speak for them. So in honor of our newest APCC milestone, we’ve decided to turn the Creator Spotlight section into its own newsletter edition! 🥳
As always, there will be one film, one photograph, and one video postcard selected for the bi-weekly Spotlight. You can submit your own works through the Discord community server here.
