How These Creators are Standing Out
Ethos, lighting and non-traditional video postcards

In a digital world where no idea is truly original— everything is or will inevitably be—regurgitated and repackaged into a different concept: how can you make art that differentiates you from the 'norm'? Easy.
By being you. By telling your story as authentically as you can. By thinking outside the box of your own regularly scheduled programming. By taking what is traditional and inputting your own unique spin on what's "already working." 🧠
And these creators excelled at that. This edition of Creators Spotlight did not disappoint. Congrats to all the selects and don't forget to submit your work on the Discord for a chance to get featured here at APCC! 🤝

"never enough" by @maaarr🎥 When we think of memorable art, it's usually a piece that invokes some sort of emotional reaction from us as the recipients. And when art can tap into the ethos of a universal feeling, especially one about never feeling enough, it transcends boundaries.😮💨 We loved this piece from @maaarr. It's real, raw and represents the societal pressures we as individuals have felt at one point or another in our lives.

“New Sports/Gym work” by @richmaciverphoto🧘♀️ I love the resounding feeling of calm that I feel looking at this photoset. It's a juxtaposed sense of perception considering sports and wellness usually push your body past the point of calmness into excitement. 🏊♂️ I like the way you lit up the background individually from the subject and then put it all together because it's very evident the lighting of these shots were meticulously planned. You executed this perfectly. 👌

Jazz Journal Postcards @joshuajacksn🎷 This is such a unique take on the traditional video postcards. We love the interview-style spin you put on this photo set and definitely want to see more of this kind of style in the future! 🙌

We'll see you next week for our APCC newsletter. We hope everyone is staying safe and as always, happy creating! ✌️
Adrian believes in utilizing his platform to feature creatives on a global scale. Through the formation of APCC he hopes to bring more exposure to creators, encourage others to tap into their talents, and let their art speak for them. So in honor of our newest APCC milestone, we’ve decided to turn the Creator Spotlight section into its own newsletter edition! 🥳
As always, there will be one film, one photograph, and one video postcard selected for the bi-weekly Spotlight. You can submit your own works through the Discord community server here.
