How to Edit Faster
The @omgadrian Method
So you want to not spend half your days editing at your computer? Trust me, I get it.
Editing is one of the most, if not the most, tedious parts of filming. I'm going to break down my biggest tip so you can have the most efficient editing workflow and cut back on the time you spend in post. ⏳
Thank you for your support!🙏 I can't thank y'all enough for the way you engage with the silly little videos I make online. Because of you, I was featured on Teen Vogue and Instagram's Creators of Tomorrow. You can read the full edition on the TV website!
How to Edit Faster✍️ Okay, okay! Y'all asked so here it is. This is a basically foolproof, tried and true, way of structuring your filming day to make editing a breeze.
I think this tip goes without saying. Because when you plan for what you do, you'll be prepared for everything that comes your way. So don't save the stress for post-production, get all your ducks in order before you even start to film. Plan all your details in pre-production so by the time you get to editing, you know where everything needs to go in your editing workflow. 😌
The Paper Edit has given me a lot more flexibility when it comes to editing. It's been a game changer in helping me produce, film and execute videos in a timely manner. Applying this practice into everything I do creatively gives me more structure in my filming days. Try it out and let me know what y'all think! As always, happy creating and I'll see you guys next week. ✌️
