Working as a Team: Creating is oftentimes a very solitary activity but I genuinely wouldn't be where I am without the team efforts that take place every day, every week, both in Los Angeles and around the world. 🎨 🌎 Watch HERE

Sure, ideas and concepts are recycled over and over again and we can even debate if anything is truly original.♻️ But I think if you lean into your own ways of telling stories, your own version of editing, whatever it may be— you can start to sway audiences to not just watch your videos but to follow you alongside your content journey. 🎥🤝

Have a question about cameras/editing/technical skills? Ask me HERE! Your question may be featured and answered in depth on the following week’s newsletter.

Question of the Week:

“What is your process when it comes to storyboarding your video ideas? I always find myself caught in 7 different minds and end up not posting something because I get in my own head!” Submitted by: Aiden

From Adrian 💬

Been there way too many times! For me, storyboarding isn’t about drawing every frame perfectly. It’s about clarity. I usually start with the feeling I want the viewer to walk away with. Then, I break that into 3–5 key story beats: intro, build-up, payoff, and conclusion. I then write down rough shots or locations next to each beat, nothing fancy. That way, I don’t spiral in perfectionism. It’s just enough structure to stay focused, but loose enough to not overwhelm me. Then from there I continue to refine and finalize.

Lastly, when it comes to standing out from the crowd and growing your platforms, you have to be willing to offer something of value to the people who follow you and are yet to find you. Whether it's informational 📚, entertainment 📺, or just cinematic pieces of content 🎞 . Lean into what makes you different, it's the most unique perspective you can offer. 😌

As always y'all, happy creating and don't forget: I'm rooting for you to win! 🏆
