"the beauty of nostalgia" by Matthew Asuncion đź“Ľ
Initially submitted as “finding value in my archives”, Matthew shows how much potential archived videos have in this video submission.
The combination of selected clips and color grading styles sets the stage for a nostalgic viewing experience.
The clips are well organized, and the added text help the audience understand smaller details such as location of the shot and background context to each clip.

“Exploring Double Exposure” by @thesecondstreem 🌸
Community member, Seconds, demonstrates the use of a technique called “double exposure”. Our team loves it when people introduce different skills and showcases unique shots!
In this submission, Seconds reminds us to step out of the box sometimes and try something new. He writes,
Getting back into a more creative headspace by trying techniques I don’t often use.
Check out the other two photos in the Discord thread here and let @thesecondstreem know what you think!
Bombay Beach, CA by David Perez 🌊
This series of video postcards displays this overran beach environment in a polished way. Bombay Beach is a community that has seen decline over the past few decades due to over salinization in the environment.
The postcards are serene and calming, even though the subjects are destroyed and decayed. Beautifully captured by David!
The entire postcard set can be found on Instagram here and you can submit feedback in our Discord thread here.
Adrian believes in utilizing his platform to feature creatives on a global scale. Through the formation of APCC he hopes to bring more exposure to creators, encourage others to tap into their talents, and let their art speak for them. So in honor of our newest APCC milestone, we’ve decided to turn the Creator Spotlight section into its own newsletter edition! 🥳
