The absolute BEST camera for content
Let's talk about it

If you're on the market for a new camera right now, chances are you've been told that you need it. For better quality, for better content, whatever the reason may be.
But will a new camera actually make your content better? No, but let me explain. 📸

What I Film With/What’s the Best Camera🎥 This is what I think the most important aspect of any craft is — especially when it comes to videography and content creation
How To Write Better ✍️ Here's how you nail the foundation of every good story.

I've talked about this topic countless of times before. But I'm a firm believer that no camera—no matter how new, flashy, or innovative it is—will actually make your content great if you're not nailing the foundations of a good video. 🫡
A camera won't change your story, your delivery or your connection to your audience—all of which are the basic cornerstones of what keeps people watching your video and not the next person's. Because even if your video is the most cinematic, most visually stunning and high quality, it won't be able to compensate for an okay video.
The best camera is the one you already own and the only person to best tell a compelling story about yourself is none other than you. 🫵

Question of the Week:
"First thank you for all you do from creating this community, and sharing your knowledge with us. I’m curious to know how you record your narrative audio for your videos? I can’t see any lav mics, yet some shots your driving and the camera is outside the vehicle. Or in some of your ultra wide shots where the camera seems really far away. Appreciate you." First of all, thank you for the kind words! So, I actually DO wear a lav mic in all of my shots. I just try my best to hide it well, and it seems like its working haha. I don't do any dubbing of my audio that I say to camera. It's all recorded direct to camera. When I do VO, to match my on camera dialogue, I just wear my lav mic in the same place I did, then record my VO to my camera, same settings and all. This gives me the same level, mic placement pick up, etc, to get a seamless VO to on camera dialogue as I can. I also did a video on this which you can find HERE
