Thank you everyone for sharing your stories!🙏 Be on the look out for next month’s giveaway coming soon, exclusively through the APCC Newsletter & Discord Community. 🗺

With the millions of videos getting uploaded every week, how do you decide what content is worth watching and which ones you scroll past? 🤔

Aside from the funny videos and subjective interests, I think it has a lot to do with how certain videos make you feel that actually makes someone want to stay around until the end. So, how do you make your audience feel? 💭

How to Never Run Out of Ideas:  In case you're feeling stuck or uninspired. 💡

How to Actually Make Your Videos Stand Out: All art is content but not all content is art. 🎥

Finding your own unique voice to tell your stories with is equally as important as making something that just looks nice.🗣 Figuring out how to narrate your content through your own voice and unique perspectives has a huge hand in being able to tell a story that you know best. 🤝

It keeps you memorable and distinct, both of which are hard to be when you rely on following a blueprint that you see other people use to get successful on social media. 🤳

Listen, I'm not saying it's easy to find a voice that hasn't already been done! And sometimes the style of voice you start with might not even be the one that sticks. (It happens and that's ok!) But when it comes to finding out how to fine-tune originality, in a digital world of regurgitated ideas and trends, the best advice I can give is to speak upon the things you know and love in your own way. 🧠

No one can tell your story better than you. That's it y'all, hope this helps. Happy creating! ✌️

Question of the Week:

“Hey Adrian! How do you ensure you nail your focus every time when recording yourself solo? Especially those shots where you’re active and moving around.” Submitted by: Rhys

From Adrian 💬

For the most part, I use cameras that have autofocus. I make sure I set it to continuous AF and human face detection. BUT for a long time I was shooting on a BMPCC 6k and that didnt have autofocus. For situations like this, I bring a lightweight extra light stand or tripod, and set it to where I'll be standing, set focus, zoom in and make sure its tack sharp, remove the stand, then I'll walk in and record my shot.
